Job summary

Some locations may require travel within the county. A valid NC driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• No experience required but preferred in library or customer service.
• Possession of a valid North Carolina driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist patrons at the circulation desk and provide information services.
• Check items in and out, manage holds, and assist with fines and payments.
• Instruct patrons on online resources and digital materials.
• Search the online catalog and locate items across branches.
• Support basic office equipment and self-checkout operations.
• Maintain shelf order and assist with displays and programs.
