Job summary

The Access Specialist at Downtown Library in Oklahoma City issues and receives library materials, helps patrons locate books and other items, and assists with library accounts and cards. You will also support self-service equipment and basic collection maintenance, delivering friendly, informed service to the public.

This part-time role requires a High School diploma or GED and at least one year of customer service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• One or more years of customer service experience.
• Experience with an automated circulation system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist members by issuing and receiving library materials, locating books and other materials, and managing members’ accounts.
• Issue library cards and provide information about library accounts and services.
• Assist with self-service equipment and basic collection maintenance.
