Job summary

Metropolitan Library Commission Of Oklahoma County is seeking an Entry-level Access Specialist for the Midwest City Library. You will issue and receive library materials, help members locate items, manage accounts, and assist with self-service equipment.

The role requires working the published schedule, including some weekends and evenings, and 40 hours per week. High school completion and customer service experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• One or more years of customer service experience.
• Experience with an automated circulation system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive library materials; locate books and materials; manage member accounts.
• Issue library cards and provide information about accounts and services.
• Assist with self-service equipment and technology; assist with basic collection maintenance.
