Job summary

Metropolitan Library Commission Of Oklahoma County is seeking an Access Specialist at East Edmond Library to assist library members with materials, accounts, and card services. The role includes guiding patrons, locating items, and supporting self-checkouts and technology.

The position is full-time, 40 hours weekly, with a starting salary of $16.62 per hour and weekend/evening shifts as needed. Candidates should be ready to work at the East Edmond Library location near I-35 and East 15th Street

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and at least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Experience with automated circulation systems preferred.
• Ability to assist library patrons and handle accounts.

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive library materials and locate books and other materials for members.
• Manage members' library accounts and issue library cards.
• Provide information about library accounts and services to patrons.
• Assist with self-service equipment and technology and basic collection maintenance.
