Qualifications

• Leadership and teamwork to oversee kitchen operations.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math related to meals.
• Knowledge of USDA child nutrition program regulations and food safety standards.
• Proficiency with computer use for nutrition services systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train cafeteria staff in daily operations and compliance.
• Coordinate satellite kitchen activities and supervise meal service.
• Maintain production records, meal counts, and inventory records.
• Forecast and order food and supplies in coordination with Kitchen Manager.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP procedures and USDA guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain safety standards.
