Dollar General is seeking a Cashier/Stocker to lead in the absence of management, help implement plan-o-grams, and provide exceptional customer service. The role includes unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean, organized store while protecting company assets.

Responsibilities also cover operating the cash register, handling payments, and assisting customers. The position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to company procedures in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualificações

• Ability to perform basic math operations (addition, subtraction, percentages).
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and cashier accountability.
• Ability to operate IBM cash register functions.
• Familiarity with cash/security policies and safety practices.
• Strong interpersonal and written/spoken communication skills.
• Understanding of safety policies and plan-o-gram guidance.

Responsabilidades

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise, rotate and face items on shelves.
• Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and store displays.
• Greet customers and assist in locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register, process payments, and bag items.
• Keep store clean and safe, including front-end area and stockroom.
• Open or close the store under Area Manager direction.
