Dollar General is seeking a Cashier/Stocker who can lead in the absence of store management while ensuring orderly shelves, accurate cashiering, and strong customer service.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking, merchandising, and assisting customers, with a focus on loss prevention and safe store operations. Prior supervisory exposure is preferred; strong math and cash-handling skills are essential.

Formación

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, percentages).
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control.
• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.
• Knowledge of safety policies and practices.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock, rotate, face merchandise and build displays.
• Restock returned merchandise and execute ordering as directed.
• Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise and answering questions.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the store and on the front end.
