Dollar General is seeking a Cashier/Stocker to support store operations, assist in managing plan-o-grams, and provide outstanding customer service. In the absence of Store Manager, you may lead the team and oversee cash handling, safety, and store maintenance.

You will unload trucks, stock shelves, assist customers, and help create a clean, organized shopping environment while protecting company assets and reducing losses.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent, with supervisory experience preferred (6 months).
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations including percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and cashier accountability.
• Experience operating IBM cash register functions.
• Understanding plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidelines.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise to maintain shelves.
• Operate cash register and process payments.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and building displays.
• Maintain clean store, restrooms, and back room.
• Open or close the store under area manager guidance.
• Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and zone ordering.
• Ensure cashier accountability and security practices.
• Provide exemplary customer service leadership in the absence of management.
