Job summary

Product Connections, part of Acosta Group, is seeking a Lead Event Specialist to drive in-store product demonstrations inside Sam's Club. You’ll interact with customers, share product features, and support event operations, serving as a resource for teammates.

No prior demonstration experience is required; we provide training and ongoing support to help you succeed in a flexible, part-time role within a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Retail, customer service, food service, hospitality, product demonstrations, or team leadership experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable interacting with customers and supporting team members.
• Able to use smartphone/tablet/computer for scheduling and reporting.
• Food Safety Certification required; additional certifications may be required by local regulations.
• Standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds (occasional up to 50 pounds).
• Able to stand/walk, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, balance, climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Set up, execute, and break down in-store product demonstrations.
• Engage customers and communicate product features and benefits.
• Prepare and serve food samples following safety standards.
• Maintain demonstration equipment, supplies, and a clean workspace.
• Support team members and act as in-store contact when supervisor is unavailable.
• Build relationships with store personnel and assist client visits/audits.
• Complete required reporting, documentation, and event photos.
• Follow company policies and perform other duties as assigned.
