Job summary

Product Connections, part of Acosta Group, is seeking a Lead Event Specialist for in-store product demos at Sam's Club. This part-time role involves customer interaction, food samples, event operations, and serving as a resource for the team.

You'll get weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for career advancement in a lively retail environment. Prior demo experience isn't required; training is provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in retail, customer service, food service, hospitality, product demonstrations, or team leadership is a plus, but not required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable interacting with customers and supporting team members.
• Ability to use a smartphone, tablet, or computer for scheduling and reporting.
• Food Safety Certification required; additional food handling certifications may be required based on local regulations.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly lift up to 25 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, balance, and climb a step ladder as needed.
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up, execute, and break down in-store product demonstrations.
• Engage customers and communicate product features and benefits.
• Prepare and serve food samples while following food safety standards.
• Maintain demonstration equipment, supplies, and a clean work area.
• Support team members and serve as the in-store point of contact when a supervisor is unavailable.
• Build relationships with store personnel and support client visits and audits.
• Complete required reporting, documentation, and event photos.
• Follow company policies and perform other duties as assigned.
