Qualifications

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and handle cash accurately.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and POS register functions.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Effective interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to safety policies and loss prevention practices.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and receive merchandise according to store procedures.
• Stock merchandise, rotate, face shelves, and build displays.
• Operate cash register and process payments, bag items, and provide change.
• Greet customers and assist with locating products.
• Maintain clean front end and stocking areas; assist with plan-o-grams.
• Authorize refunds and overrides in absence of managers; ensure cashier accountability.
• Monitor cash levels, security practices, and paperwork deadlines.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and secure store environment.
