Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) is seeking a Lead Accounting Assistant on the Cal Poly Pomona campus with hybrid work eligibility. The role supervises Accounting Assistants, oversees reconciliations and reports, and supports budget and process improvements under the Accounting Supervisor.

The ideal candidate has 6–12 months of leadership experience, 8 accounting units coursework, and strong confidentiality and software skills. This is a part-time, on-campus position with flexible hours.

Qualifikationen

• Must complete at least 8 accounting units; Accounting/Finance major preferred.
• 6–12 months of leadership experience required.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional demeanor at all times.
• Proficient with office software and spreadsheets; strong accounting skills.
• Ability to work with a diverse campus community and undergo background check.

Aufgaben

• Supervise Accounting Assistants and allocate tasks.
• Train and develop the Accounting team for efficiency.
• Coordinate cross-training to broaden team skills.
• Handle complex reconciliations, analysis, and reports.
• Review subsidiary/general ledger transactions with supervisor.
• Assist in developing accounting processes and systems.
• Collaborate with other units in Financial Services.
• Assist in audits and budget requests; support special projects.
• Adapt to changing needs and perform other duties.
