Cully Correction: Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Jefferson County seeks an After-School Program Lead Educator to deliver 4-H STEAM programming for K-12 students. This role supports school districts throughout Jefferson County and involves evening/weekend hours as needed.

The position emphasizes curriculum delivery, lesson planning, collaboration with school staff, and program evaluation while ensuring safety and compliance with OCFS licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; or High School Diploma/GED plus one year transferable program experience.
• Relevant experience for the role.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License.
• Ability to meet all SACC and OCFS licensing requirements (Tuberculosis Test, physical exam, training).
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 4-H STEAM curriculum using established resources.
• Assist in lesson planning and instruction; support academic study portions.
• Collaborate with school personnel to enhance instruction; provide staffing coverage.
• Oversee program staff coverage and coordinate outreach; complete required reports.
