Job summary

Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Jefferson County is seeking an Afterschool Program Educator to support the 4-H Afterschool Program for youth in grades K-12. You will provide comprehensive 4-H youth development opportunities and collaborate with school districts listed.

The role is part-time (20 hours/week) with an hourly pay rate of $20.00, offering benefits including health and dental insurance, retirement, vacation and leave.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent education and program experience.
• Experience relevant to after-school youth programming is preferred.
• Ability to meet licensing and travel requirements as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide 4-H after-school programming and youth development activities for grades K-12.
• Teach STEAM-focused lessons using established curricula.
• Assist in lesson plan creation and deliver innovative educational programs.
• Coordinate staffing and programming coverage for multiple after-school programs.
