Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Proficient with computers and Excel.
• Ability to work cooperatively and independently.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Focus/interest in science/biology/microbiology.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Reads, understands and follows management system requirements including ISO/IEC 17025/AOAC ALACC and government/regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations; maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Register incoming samples and maintain accurate records for QA checks.
• Enter sample data into the Eurofins eLIMS system promptly and accurately.
• Complete laboratory testing on all samples in a timely and accurate manner.
• Verify results and submit to appropriate personnel for transmission.
• Identify process difficulties and report with proposed solutions to supervisor.
• Maintain readiness to respond to client and colleague queries and needs.
• Maintain cooperative working relationships; communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Promote the company image via ethical business practices.
• Strive to improve quality through existing and new technologies.
• Identify non-conformances and out-of-specifications.
• Conduct activities safely and efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
