Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a part-time On Call/Flex Laboratory Assistant – Micro in Des Moines, IA. The role supports daily sample testing, data entry, and adherence to quality systems while maintaining a safe, organized lab environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma and some exposure to ISO17025 guidelines, with strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Flexible scheduling (Noon–8pm, M–F) offers 15–20 hours per week and benefits as described.

Responsibilities

• Follow Quality System documents relevant to responsibilities and standards.
• Adhere to ISO17025 guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Perform daily assaying of samples and testing from a daily work list.
• Maintain neat and accurate records and logs of work performed.
• Keep the laboratory area clean and ensure safe handling of wastes.
