Job summary

Eurofins US Food Testing is seeking a part-time lab support technician in Idaho Falls. Shifts are Mon 10am-6pm and Fri-Sun 12pm-4pm, with responsibilities including data entry, sample handling, and basic testing under ISO/IEC 17025 and AOAC guidelines.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, proficiency with Excel, and strong communication skills. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required; US work authorization without sponsorship is necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Proficient with Excel and general computer use.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Interest in science/biology/microbiology.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Enter the sample data into Eurofins eLIMS system in a timely and accurate manner.
• Complete laboratory testing on all incoming samples in an accurate, efficient and timely manner; ensure sample turnaround time goals are met.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Communicate with clients and coworkers and report any process difficulties with proposed solutions.
