Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of professional kitchen experience is required.
• State Driver's License or ability to obtain one is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains kitchen, dish area, and storages in a clean, organized, and sanitary state.
• Supervises staff by recruiting, assigning tasks, and providing direction.
• Coordinates training and technical support for team members.
• Conducts annual employee evaluations and provides coaching and feedback.
• Approves leaves and oversees overtime as appropriate.
• Interprets and enforces college policies and communicates actions to staff.
• Cleans utensils, stoves, grills, and related equipment using proper methods.
• Transports food supplies between storeroom, freezer, and kitchen areas.
• Maintains inventory levels and assists with equipment upkeep and sanitation.
• Supports faculty, students, and interns, fostering a respectful work environment.
