Job summary

Upper Crust Food Service is seeking Student Stewards to support our culinary team in a fast-paced environment on-site. You will help maintain a clean kitchen, operate dishwashing equipment, stock supplies, and assist with deliveries while upholding professionalism with coworkers and customers.

This role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to follow directions. Prior kitchen experience is preferred; a food safety certification or the willingness to obtain one

Qualifications

• Teamwork and ability to operate in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Dishwashing duties and maintaining clean utensils, dishes, and surfaces.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to follow established safety protocols and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining area.
• Wash utensils, equipment and dishes by machine or hand.
• Put away clean dishes, glassware, and pots/pans.
• Stock supplies in serving stations and storage areas.
• Sweep and wash floors.
• Assist with deliveries and unloading.
• Maintain positive, professional attitude with coworkers and customers.
• Communicate with management via calls, emails, and texts.
