Goldfish Swim School in Rockland, MA is seeking a patient, energetic Swim Instructor to bring our curriculum to life in the water. You’ll teach foundational water safety and swim skills, connect with families, and take ownership of each child’s progress.

This role requires evening and weekend shifts, a positive attitude, and a willingness to pursue a Lifeguard certification. Prior lifeguard or childcare experience is a plus, and you’ll work with a team dedicated to safe, fun lessons.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum with energy and focus on student growth.
• Enforce safety rules on the pool deck daily to maintain a secure environment.
• Evaluate student progress and complete skill evaluations on time.
• Communicate with parents after lessons to share updates and celebrate progress.
• Use problem-solving to help students overcome challenges and continue progressing.
• Maintain and store pool equipment, including lane lines and safety gear.
• Assist with light cleaning duties as needed (deck, windows, trash).
