Job summary

Goldfish Swim School is seeking a patient, energetic Swim Instructor to bring our curriculum to life in the water. You will teach kids foundational swim skills, ensure safety, and build genuine connections with students and families.

This part-time, non-exempt role requires evening and weekend availability, a positive attitude, and a willingness to obtain Lifeguard certification. Prior lifeguard or childcare experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Must be available for evening and weekend shifts.
• Lifeguard certification encouraged / willingness to obtain.
• Experience with kids, youth sports, or childcare is valued.

Responsibilities

• Deliver swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum with energy and focus on student growth.
• Enforce safety rules on the pool deck daily to maintain a secure environment.
• Evaluate student progress and complete skill evaluations on time.
• Communicate with parents after lessons to share updates and address concerns.
