Job summary

SFC Chicagoland LLC dba Sticky Fingers Cooking® is seeking a part-time After School Children's Cooking Instructor to cultivate curiosity in kids through hands-on cooking classes. Most sessions run 2–5pm, typically 3–4:30pm, with up to 8–14 children per class.

You’ll lead hour-long sessions, develop recipes, and foster healthy food habits in a fun, supportive kitchen environment. Instructors receive paid hands-on training and individualized support, plus food reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Availability at least 2 days a week to teach (Mon–Fri 2–5pm; most classes 3:00–4:30pm)
• Commitment to teaching weekly for 6–12 weeks
• Experience working with groups of kids of varying ages and managing 8–14 children

Responsibilities

• Lead hour-long healthy cooking enrichment classes on-site at various locations
• Create creative recipes and teach children about new ingredients and healthy foods
• Review weekly class curricula and prepare for instruction, including shopping for fresh ingredients
• Teach basic kitchen skills: washing, cutting, grating, stirring, measuring, nutrition, and recipe history
