Job summary

SFC Chicagoland LLC dba Sticky Fingers Cooking® of Chicago, IL is seeking a part-time After School Children's Cooking Instructor to ignite curiosity about food in kids ages 3-12.

You will teach hour-long classes 2-5pm at various locations, roughly 1 class per day, with prep time and food reimbursement per class. No professional cooking experience is required, but reliable transportation and strong group management are essential.

Qualifications

• Availability at least 2 days a week to teach (Mon-Fri, 2-5pm, 3:00-4:30pm preferred).
• Commitment to teaching weekly for 6–12 weeks.
• Experience working with groups of kids of varying ages.
• Ability to manage 8–14 children with diverse backgrounds.
• Reliable transportation and timely communication with the team.
• Punctual and reliable; no professional cooking experience required.
• ServSafe Food Handler Certification can be obtained before teaching.

Responsibilities

• Lead hour-long after-school cooking classes at various locations in your area.
• Create engaging recipes and teach new ingredients and healthy foods from around the world.
• Review weekly curricula and shop for fresh ingredients for instruction.
• Teach basic kitchen skills such as washing, cutting, stirring, and measuring.
