Job summary

designerbrands is seeking a Store Associate to support management in delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will help sustain in-store standards, assist with inventory, and participate in omni-channel activities to enhance sales and service.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. You will be part of a team that values energy, fun, and a customer-first approach across the store.

• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support store management to drive sales and KPI achievement.
• Maintain in-store standards and daily open/close routines.
• Coordinate with leadership to follow policies and execute plans.
• Process audits, donations, transfers, and other procedures as required.
• Assist with inventory, MOOS, and omni-channel activities (BOPIS/Charge-Send).
• Ensure a safe, welcoming environment and address issues with urgency.
• Coach and train associates and provide feedback to leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store Manager.
