Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and around-the-clock in-person supervision of youth at a secure residential facility.
• Address physical, personal, and health needs of each youth through counseling and skill development.
• Monitor and document behaviors; participate in educational, social, athletic and recreational activities.
• Collaborate with staff to meet goals of each youth's treatment plan.

TMAG is a secure post-adjudication facility located in North Texas that provides comprehensive services to young women (10-17), using a trauma-informed, strength-based, gender responsive model. Through rigorous education, positive skill development, and individualized therapeutic interventions and treatment, we empower youth to reach their full potential. The facility features group, individual, and family therapy, on-site schooling, individual dorm rooms, and extracurricular opportunities for the young women. Earn a $1,000 Bonus After Successful Completion of Essential Skills Training (within the first 90 Days!)

What you will do: Juvenile Supervision Officers provide safety and around-the-clock in person supervision of youth at a secure residential facility. In this role, you will provide for the physical, personal and health needs of each youth through individual counseling and skill development. Juvenile Supervision Officers provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the youth’s needs; monitor and document behaviors and activities; and participate and assist with educational, social, athletic and recreational activities. Juvenile Supervision Officers collaborate with other professional staff to establish and meet the goals of each youth's treatment plan.

To be considered you should: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.

Schedule: As a part-time Juvenile Supervision Officers, you will work no more than 29 hours a week. Availability will be discussed during the interview with the hiring manager.
