Job summary

Serco is seeking a Junior Recruiter in a part-time hybrid role based at our corporate headquarters in Herndon, VA, with two in‑office days per week and attendance at local hiring events. You will support multiple business units, perform initial interviews, and assist a senior recruiter and TA managers to fill requisitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service, interviewing, assessment, or sourcing.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with ATS (iCIMS or similar).

Responsibilities

• Provide candidate support across multiple Business Units.
• Conduct initial phone or video interviews to assess qualifications.
• Assist Senior/Lead Recruiters and recruiters with up to 20–30 requisitions.
• Draft job descriptions and post job ads.
• Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions in the ATS.
• Monitor and maintain recruitment metrics and time-to-fill targets.
• Travel up to 10% for job fairs.
