Job summary

Meyer Foods Management Company is seeking a part-time Recruiting Assistant to support our Talent Acquisition team. This hybrid role requires remote work with periodic in-office attendance in Indiana, typically once per week or every other week.

The position will generally work 20–30 hours per week, with flexibility for additional hours during peak recruiting activity. Ideal candidates are organized, detail-oriented, excellent communicators, and able to adjust priorities as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization and detail orientation.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to adapt hours to recruiting demands and PTO coverage.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruiting activities from application through hire, including reviewing applications, outreach, scheduling interviews, follow-up, and pre-employment tasks.
• Work with the Talent Acquisition Specialist on daily recruiting processes and keep HR Manager informed on responsibilities.
• Communicate clearly with candidates, hiring managers, and HR team via phone, email, text, and in person.
• Post and maintain job openings across platforms; ensure information is accurate.
• Coordinate interviews and hiring activities with timely, accurate information for all parties.
• Maintain organized candidate records and ATS data; support recruiting events and outreach.
• Assist with recruiting reports, pipelines, and tracking key recruiting metrics.
