Work Skills Corporation in Michigan is seeking a Job Mentor to support post-secondary students in an adult transitional program. You will help develop job readiness and technical skills, working at employer sites, classrooms, and virtually as needed.

The role runs 8am–2pm, Monday through Thursday, at a rate of $20 per hour. Candidates should have a high school diploma, reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide valuable service by supporting individuals to effectively complete job duties and achieve long-term employment in community-based settings
• Assess the strengths of individuals and teach them to use them effectively
• Guide clients in learning to complete job tasks
• Help in the development of motivation and skills
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of clients
