Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer or similar role required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Background check required and US work authorization.
• Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments.
• Experience with office automation products and printers/scanners.
• Knowledge of network security practices and antivirus programs.
• Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions.
• Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Customer-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Addressing user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking issues.
• Walking staff through installing applications and computer peripherals.
• Diagnosing problems by asking targeted questions.
• Guiding users with step-by-step instructions.
• Conducting remote troubleshooting.
• Supporting technology inventory and warranty processes.
• Testing alternate pathways until issues are resolved.
• Customizing desktop applications to meet user needs.
• Recording technical issues and solutions in logs and creating manuals.
• Directing unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
• Following up with clients to ensure systems are functional.
