Smarty is seeking a part-time IT Associate in Utah (Orem) to keep equipment and systems running securely and efficiently during on-site hours.

You'll configure devices, manage licenses and assets, support network gear, and provide practical training to teammates.

This role rewards problem solving, curiosity, and clear communication across all levels while aligning with SOC2 controls in a growing SaaS company. A positive, proactive attitude is valued.

Qualifications

• Completed coursework related to Bachelor's degree in IT or similar field.
• Experience delivering technical customer service preferred.
• Part-time role, 20-25 hours per week, onsite 9am–5pm.
• Willingness to learn and help others.
• Strong communication skills across all levels of Smarty.
• Detail-oriented and meticulous in problem solving.
• Experience with Linux Shell scripting.
• Awareness of SOC2.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and assist team members; provide training.
• Procure, manage, configure, and support equipment and licenses.
• Configure network gear and office devices.
• Maintain assets and perform regular audits.
• Assist with policies and procedures development.
• Support facilities management and office upgrades.
