Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program with Maryland RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• One year ICU or OR nursing experience.
• Strong patient education and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures, including assessment, education, and informed consent.
• Monitor patients' vital signs before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist radiologists and technologists during procedures, managing sterile fields and administering medications.
• Manage post-procedure care and discharge education.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards in the imaging suite.
