Holy Cross Health in Silver Spring, MD, is seeking a part-time Interventional Procedure Nurse to join the Medical Imaging/Radiology team. You will deliver patient-centered care, educate patients and families, and coordinate care within an interdisciplinary group to ensure safe, effective treatment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in Maryland or Compact State.
• BLS certification (AHA); additional Life Support training as applicable to unit requirements preferred.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in IR.

Responsibilities

• Using Quality Caring Model, plans and manages care of routine patients, including patient/family education and care planning.
• Effectively communicates patient/family information to the health care team.
• Oversee patient care for individuals visiting the Interventional Radiology Department.
• Ensure high-risk patients receive continuous attention from qualified nursing/technical staff.
• Accurately document patient care and assessment data in nursing records (vital signs, status, treatments, education, IV therapy).
• Educate patients and families about procedures, treatments, and post-care instructions.
