Qualifications
- Active RN license with current credentials.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- BLS certification required.
- Eighteen months of recent Interventional Radiology nursing experience.
- Client facility may specify additional requirements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures.
- Provide education to patient and family.
- Insert and remove IV lines.
- Administer medications including moderate sedation.
- Monitor patient patterns and vital signs during procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures.
- Provide post-procedure monitoring.
