Job summary

Evergreen Public Schools Shahala Middle School in Vancouver, WA seeks an Intervention Paraeducator to support instructional activities and tutoring programs. The role reports to the Instructor/Building Principal and participates in state/federal recordkeeping and training. Hours are 4 per day (12:05 p.m.

– 4:05 p.m.), 190 days per year. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and PARAPro or higher credentials.

Qualifications

• AA degree or higher or higher education equivalent.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Passing score on ETS ParaPro Assessment (461+) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering instructional activities to students.
• Collaborate with administrators, teachers and counselors.
• Provide one-to-one and small group instruction.
• Maintain student progress data and assist in testing.
