Job summary

Evergreen Public Schools Riverview Elementary School in Vancouver, WA is hiring an Intervention Paraeducator. This part-time role supports instructional activities and tutoring for students, reporting to the instructor/building principal.

The position is 6 hours per day (8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.), 190 days per year, with state-required trainings and benefits; salary steps follow the district schedule.

Qualifications

• Must meet Paraeducator employment requirements as listed.
• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet one of: ParaPro score 455+, Associate degree or higher, 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits (100 level+), or complete Paraeducator Apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering instructional activities and one-to-one or small-group instruction.
• Collaborate with administrators, teachers and counselors in tutoring programs.
• Maintain learning environment to support academic and social-emotional growth.
• Record student progress and assist with assessments.
• Organize instructional materials and participate in required trainings.
• Support behavioral management as outlined by instructors.
