Job summary

Bremerton School District 100-C is seeking an Integrated Skills Program Paraeducator to support students with significant disabilities. You will assist teachers with planning curriculum, prepare materials, and help with student assessments and IEP implementation.

The role includes mobility assistance, medical support, therapy sessions, supervision, and behavior support as needed; you will work under certified staff and participate in meetings and training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 72 college credits, or an AA Degree, or successful passage of the ETS ParaPro Assessment is required.
• Some child development course work or training preferred.
• Previous experience with children in a school environment preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speech; maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning curriculum and prepare instructional materials.
• Conduct student assessments to determine placement and measure progress.
• Maintain student records and report progress to staff.
• Assist with student mobility and basic hygiene needs; provide medical support.
• Support IEP implementation and conduct therapy sessions as directed.
