Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or AA/72 credits as alternative.
• Official transcripts or tests may satisfy minimum qualifications.
• Master Teacher, ParaPathways/ParaPro, or Pearson tests acceptable with required scores.
• Child development coursework preferred; school environment experience beneficial.
• Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Assist certificated staff with planning curriculum and preparing materials.
• Conduct student assessments to determine placement and progress.
• Maintain student records and assist with reports and documentation.
• Supervise students to ensure safety in classroom and common areas.
• Provide basic medical assistance and support as directed by staff.
• Attend meetings and training to maintain skills and knowledge.
