Job summary

CSN invites applications for a Nursing Instructor to teach college-level nursing courses, develop syllabi and course materials, and evaluate student mastery of outcomes across day, evening, and weekend sessions.

Required is an RN license in Nevada and an MSN in Nursing (or a BSN with 5 years of relevant experience) with enrollment in a Master’s program preferred; prior teaching experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• BSN with five years of experience or MSN in Nursing.
• Unencumbered Nevada RN license.
• Master's in Nursing or Health-Related Field as alternative.
• Interest in teaching LPN or RN students.
• Enrollment in a Master's program within one year.

• Provide an excellent teaching experience, student advisement, recruitment activities, and program/curriculum development.
• Assignments may be multi‑campus with day, evening, and/or weekend classes.

Required Qualifications

• BSN from a regionally accredited college or university with five (5) years of experience in a specialty area within the past seven (7) years (expected to be enrolled in or be enrolled within one (1) year in a Master's of Nursing program).
• or Master's in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• or Master's in Health Related Field and a BSN from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered Nevada RN license.
• Clinical experience.
• Interest in teaching LPN or RN students.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as an educator.
• Experience with evaluation and assessment methods used within nursing education programs.

Salary Information

$925 per credit for lecture per semester and $57.81 per hour for lab/clinical.

Full‑Time Equivalent: 47.5%
