Position Overview

This posting is for a part‑time Nursing Instructor whose primary responsibilities include teaching college‑level courses, developing syllabi, evaluating student mastery, and advising students. Assignments may span multiple campuses and include day, evening, and weekend classes.

Primary Responsibilities

• Teach college‑level courses in nursing.
• Develop syllabi and course materials.
• Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes.
• Provide excellent teaching experience and student advisement, recruitment, and program/curriculum development.

Required Qualifications

• Unencumbered Nevada RN license.
• Unencumbered Nevada iCNA license.
• Clinical experience.
• Interest in teaching CNA students.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as an educator.
• Experience with evaluation and assessment methods used with nursing‑assistant licensure exam.

Compensation

Salary: $925 per credit for lecture per semester and $57.81 per hour for lab/clinical.
