The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) emergency medical services(EMS) instructor must meet the qualifications of the SouthernNevada Health Department guidelines and the requirementsestablished by the State of Nevada.
The college professor/instructor teaches in discipline areas inwhich he or she has specific training and competence. As such, theinstructor is expected to plan, organize, and teach in a mannerthat encourages academic growth. He or she also promotes anddirects successful student learning in keeping with thelearning-centered values and goals of the school.
The Part- Time EMS Instructor reports to the EMS Program Directorwithin the School of Health Sciences, as well as the DepartmentChair, and the Dean of Health Sciences
