Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold current Certified Pharmacy Technician credential (PTCB) and be registered with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy at time of hire.
• High school diploma or GED is required if nationally certified through NHA.
• Mandatory Reporter training must be completed within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver medications and IV admixtures to patient rooms and care areas.
• Assist pharmacists with audits and unit inspections.
• Restock automated dispensing machines and cart inserts; manage stock and ordering needs.
• Provide training and mentoring to new employees and support workflow as needed.
• Perform general pharmacy duties under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
