MercyOne Des Moines, part of MercyOne Health System, is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Tech to support pharmaceutical care delivery at MercyOne Central Iowa Medical Center. You will prepare medications, deliver IV admixtures, restock inventory, and assist pharmacists under supervision.

Opportunity for growth within a large health system. Qualifications include PTCB certification, Iowa Board registration, and relevant training.

Qualificações

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) required for eligibility.
• Registered with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy at time of hire.
• HS diploma or GED required if nationally certified through NHA; PTCB does not require HS diploma/ GED.
• Mandatory Reporter training within three months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare medication orders.
• Deliver medications and IV admixtures to patient rooms and care areas.
• Restock and inventory medications and IV supplies.
• Assist pharmacists with audits and unit inspections; restock automated dispensing machines.
• Provide training and mentoring to new employees as needed.
