Job summary

HSM (Hickory Springs Manufacturing) is seeking a Core Group Associate to ensure innerspring units meet quality standards before moving on in the production process. You will repair and trim innersprings, attach border wire, and manage placement on the overhead carrier system.

The role demands physical stamina and a focus on safety and teamwork. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, with the ability to lift over 70 lbs repeatedly and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months of prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
• Must be able to lift over 70 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to quality, safety, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Repairing and trimming innersprings as they come off the machine.
• Attaching border wire to innerspring units using an air-powered clip gun.
• Lifting and placing completed units onto the overhead carrier system.
• Keeping your work area and equipment clean, safe, and organized at the end of each shift.
