HSM (Hickory Springs Manufacturing) Company in Wisconsin is hiring a manufacturing associate to join our production team. You will place coils into the assembly machine, inspect quality, lace coils, and remove finished innerspring units, contributing to efficient operations and product quality.

Qualifications

• Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, walk and twist frequently.
• Ability to use vision and touch to assemble parts accurately.
• Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and support additional assignments as needed.
• Dependable attendance and safety-conscious work habits.

Responsibilities

• Place individual coils into the assembly machine
• Inspect coils for knot quality
• Operate the machine to lace coils together
• Remove completed innerspring units from the machine
• Monitor equipment to maintain quality and production counts
• Keep the coiler operating efficiently and respond when a coil drops
• Replenish lubricant and straighten tangled lacing wire when needed
• Follow proper machine shutdown procedures to help prevent jams and equipment issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at the end of your shift
