Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some receptionist or office experience preferred.
• Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel required.
• Must complete required e-learning courses within 90 days of occupying position.
• Demonstrates adaptability, handles day-to-day challenges, and maintains quality.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients to the infusion suite in a prompt, courteous manner; checks in patients.
• Schedules appointments for patients efficiently and accurately.
• Answers, screens, and directs incoming calls; relays messages to clinical staff.
• Enters new patients and changes in therapy into the EMR; updates demographics.
• Collects co-pays and balances; provides receipts.
• Maintains confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; supports staff as needed.
