Job summary

The Associate will maintain knowledge of products, demonstrate features, and work to meet client objectives in a retail environment. This part-time position emphasizes a professional appearance and adherence to store policies.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months’ related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer Skills: Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local Food handlers permit may be required.
• Physical Demands: Stand/walk, use hands, reach overhead, talk/listen, read instructions, stoop/kneel/squat, climb stairs, lift up to 25 lbs (50 lbs occasionally).
• Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
• Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel.
• Physical Appearance: Professional appearance and grooming; retailer dress code in training materials.

Responsibilities

• Possesses the aptitude to gain knowledge of products.
• Engage and sell product to consumers in a positive manner.
• Explain features and benefits of products.
• Prepare and serve samples using microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation and use cleaning chemicals.
• Set up and prepare Event Table for execution.
• Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
• Assist with client visits and audit corrections.
• Build rapport with store personnel to meet objectives.
• Submit expense reports per Company Policy.
