Job summary

CROSSMARK is seeking a part-time Associate to support in-store food and non-food demonstrations. You will learn products, demonstrate them to customers, and manage event equipment with professional presentation in a retail environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating with store management in the Supervisor’s absence, leading the team when needed, and ensuring food samples are prepared safely using available appliances.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Food Safety Professional Certification, Local Food handlers permit if required.
• Proficient ability to use and navigate a personal computer and mobile device using applications and internal systems.
• English is the primary language; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain event equipment and supplies to ensure cleanliness and security in backroom areas.
• Communicate with store management when Supervisor is absent about upcoming events and execution of past events.
• Act as point of contact for all events in the store and assist other Event Specialists with kits, materials, and tools.
• Provide leadership and knowledge to the team when Supervisors are not present.
• Demonstrate product features and benefits to consumers and proactively engage and sell items.
