Job summary

Children’s Specialized ABA is hiring a Part-Time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. You’ll support BCBA supervision, work in-home or clinic settings within a roughly 20‑mile radius, and help clients build communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Paid training, support to obtain RBT certification, and opportunities for advancement are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation.
• RBT certification preferred, but not required — we provide training and support.
• Prior experience with children, ASD experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to commit to a consistent weekly schedule.
• Physically able to perform duties (kneeling, bending, lifting up to 40 lbs., moving with children).

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized therapy sessions in-home or clinic-based.
• Implement behavior acquisition and reduction plans.
• Use electronic tools such as CentralReach to conduct preference assessments and track data.
• Collaborate in clinical meetings and receive ongoing feedback and supervision.
• Maintain program books and develop teaching materials.
• Communicate progress to parents and caregivers.
• Provide basic care (e.g., toileting, eating) as needed.
