Job summary

Achieve Beyond is hiring part-time, hourly Behavior Therapists to serve children across Brooklyn. You will deliver direct ABA instruction, collect data, and collaborate with a BCBA and therapy team. Roles include communicating with families and supporting home/community routines for consistency.

Applicants should have 2+ years of experience with special needs children (age 2–21) or be enrolled in a related undergraduate/graduate program. Training and supervision are provided.

Qualifications

• Two years of work with special needs children ages 2–21 in supervised setting.
• Completion of or current enrollment in undergraduate/graduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education, or related field.
• Experience with ABA preferred and 20-hour classroom training with competency exam upon completion.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the BCBA.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other Therapists on the case.
• Communicate with families by providing debriefs and resources to implement at home and in the community.
• Collect daily data and organize the child's program book weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality of information per state and federal regulations.
