Job summary

Achieve Beyond in the New York metro area is seeking part-time, hourly Behavior Therapists to provide direct ABA instruction in home, clinic, and community settings. You will collaborate with BCBA teams, participate in case conferences, and communicate with families to support consistency across home and community programs.

Applicants should have at least 2 years working with children with special needs (ages 2–21) or be enrolled in psychology/related studies, with ABA training preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years working with special needs children ages 2-21 in a supervised setting.
• Successful completion of 20 hour classroom training and passing competency exam.
• Experience using ABA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the BCBA.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other Therapists on the case.
• Communicate frequently with family members by providing debriefs and resources for home/community use.
• Collect daily data and organize child's program book weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality of information according to State and Federal regulations.
